The Ignite Thailand Festival took over Times Square on September 3, 2024, showcasing Thailand’s culture and products to thousands of visitors. Organized by Mr. Vuttikrai Leewiraphan, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, and the Thai Trade Center New York, the event featured over 20 booths offering Thai food, fashion, and Thai SELECT dining experiences.
Highlights included Thai cooking demonstrations, a fashion show, Muay Thai, and traditional Thai performances. Digital billboards and Pedi Cabs added to the excitement, promoting Thai brands and culture throughout the area.
With an estimated 20,000 attendees, the event successfully boosted awareness of Thai products in the U.S. market, further solidifying Thailand's cultural and economic presence.
